Container is a micro placed in a small park in Manitou. BYOP (You shouldn't have as much trouble getting into the shelter as they did on The Twilight Zone.)
This cache is in Mansions Park, near the present Manitou City Hall. The park was once behind the old Mansions Hotel, torn down in 1925. An old postcard from 1905 shows a small log bridge across Fountain Creek connecting the park to the area of the hotel, but that is long gone too. The park is a very pretty place in Spring and Summer when all the flowers are in bloom. A picture of the park is at http://www.panoramio.com/photo/23910587 Take time to enjoy the area.

The shelters here are a popular place for gatherings and celebrations, so you may have to really work to avoid muggles, or simply come back another time.

I was out geocaching with Barondriver in Colorado Springs, CO, when I found this one. We were in a venue where they setting up for a wedding. We talked to the bride but she did not know where the cache was. So we kept looking and finally found it!! Good Cammo!! This was a good hide and I had fun finding it! Everything was in good shape.
