South Platte River View

 

While out on a hike to go fishing I had a few containers in my backpack.  This spot is at one of the highest points along the trail and provides a beautiful view of the river and valley below.

 

Enjoy a nice hike on this trail to the open fishing area of the South Platte at the end.  Bring your fly pole as the fishing is great, or just enjoy a nice hike along this trail and along the river at the end.

 

Cache can be found on the downhill side of trail, tucked under a small rock outcropping.

FTF!

With no snow in the Divide area I decided to head this way to go for a hike.

There was a little snow in the hollows, the rest of the trail was high and dry.

It went from 5 degrees when I parked to probably 32 degrees standing at GZ and when I got back to my truck it was 50 degrees that made it a pleasant fun hike out and back.
