It was fun to be out multicaching with COpackrat in the nice fall weather. I have to admit I got a nudge from the CO to help us overcome our blindness. Maybe I should ask to borrow Joe's glasses. TFTC

Every now and then you have that magical day when you find everything quickly. Today I went in search of caches from some of the best hiders in the area: T5M, PMC, FtF. Found everything today in 5 minutes or less (which just means the "I can't find anything" day is coming...).

Had gotten a small hint from another finder and saw it before I got my gloves on. Fiendishly good as we expect from T5M. Another fav. TFTC!

I have absolutely NO IDEA who this cache could possibly be referring to. I mean... who could possibly warrant such a crazy experience. Anyway, I digress.

I remember when I first heard about this multi. It was shortly after the CO and I went on a wild goose chase for another multi. Apparently this was related payback. And you know what they say about payback...

Sorry, still digressing. But, in a way, this is what it was like to do the legwork to get this cache. Meandering around and taking forever to get to the end.

Apparently, this multi has changed a bit. For the record, I did what was necessary when it was a miserable experience. 15 miles through the snow and uphill both ways and all that. I even had to revisit places I'd been! Anyway, still digressing...

After several months had passed since I had completed the sacrifices required by the CO and gotten the coords for the final. But, as it's farther than 3 miles away from me it was practically on my ignore list. But today, I decided to finally give it a shot. I was close enough to get it during my son's football practice before his game.

Ground zero offered many possibilities. But, I would expect nothing less from you. So, I started the search. I looked high and low. Low and high. Even hilow. I actually did find a perfect spot for the cache to be. But... it wasn't there. So I kept searching. Finally, it got to the point where I had to get back for the game. So as I last ditch I called the CO to see if I could get a hint. As it turns out, for the second time in the recent past, I found the spot but the cache had decided to make a run for it. But, it didn't get far and I was able to make the grab. So, for the record, although I did ask for a hint - the hint pointed me right to where I had looked (and where it was supposed to be). The cache is now back where it belongs.

Thanks for the hide the5millers. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Went for a drive with "animjason" on a delightfully warm and sunny winter day - this was the last of five geocaches that I found along the way. TN=LN-SL. Thanks !
