A two-parter, off of Windemere at Belleview park. The final is just a bit down the trail - a 1-minute walk.

There is a new trail here which will take you close to the end. The area has become pretty wooly with all of the rains this summer 2015, so, we're bumping the terrain difficulty to a 2.5. Watch for snakes and low-lying cactus.
This is a unique area where Belleview Park has preserved original ranch land from development. We met a neighbor who lives on the ridge of nice homes east of Belleview Park, and who lived in the area back when this was Mr. Whitaker's sheep ranch. If you go just north of the Park's tennis courts off of Belleview, you'll be on Whitaker Drive. The ranch was somewhat subdivided and "developed" after WWII. The cache is located in a remnant from the past, when people lived off of the land, and lived in natural parks.

I was not clever enough to find this one today, so I'll have to come back and try it again some time.

Poo, I got stuck at the final way point as there didn't seem to be anything of interest in the 30 feet or so circular area of the calculated GZ. Reached out to CO for a hint.
I really enjoyed this walk and visit to this park. It was a walk back in time. I could imagine this being a ranch back in the day, the first way point seems to be an old horse feeding can. The canal was full of water, which was a little surprising considering how dry it's been. Nice wildflowers along canal walkway too.
I hope to be back for my smiley for this one, as it is a great cache.

Took a couple of looks at waypoint one before we found the info needed. Found the final quickly and loved the container so giving this one a fav for sure

Class ended early, so I took the scenic route home, picking up some puzzles, interesting caches, and larger containers along the way. Spotted the clue at stage one upon approach, but the well-camo'd final took significantly longer to locate! Aptly named cache...thanks for those hints! :-) Thanks for hiding this one!

Thanks for the fun multi cache!

Today we were heading to this park to celebrate my niece's 2nd birthday. The weather started out pretty crumby and cold but by party time it was at least warmer and the sun peeked out several times.

Knowing we would be in the park for several hours I looked ahead for a few puzzles and multi's. I added this one to the list as it looked fun!

As we made out way to GZ I spied something.... Nope... Expanded search... nope... huh..?? Back to GZ... Nope.... I began questioning my "skills" and the kids and wife couldn't come up with anything either. Then I saw it! Ha ha ha!! Well played sir!

Off to the final. My GPS was all over the place... like by 30-50'! I looked up. Power lines! Doh! Well... the final had to be over there. The kids did their inspection and then made room for me to look around. Nice! Well made and camo'd container. Signed log and grabbed the two TB's to take back home with us.

Thanks for the fun adventure here! Had me chuckling and kids and wife enjoyed it too! Favorite being added!

I circled around wp1 for longer than I care to say. Turns out it was a little east of where my cords said it was. But once I figured it out, I was on my way to the final. Very clever Waypoint 1 and final! Traded TVs. Tftc!

Very cool! Took some time at wp1 because I didn’t look close enough. No trouble at wp2. Love the final container. Dropped two Trackables to try and get some more action in this cache.

Added a small hint. Checked on stages 1 & 2, and all is well.

Funny story, a few years ago right after a big 4th of July hoopla in the park, we took a walk around the park and found a $100 bill near the sidewalk a few feet from stage 2 of the cache. Keep a look out!
