Continental Divide Cache

Winter Storm Warning!
Increase the terrain and difficulty rating in the winter time, but if you can drive to the top of the pass, you can get this cache. The last 20' might be a challenge!

In the summer, this should be an easy one!

It's only 78 miles from Idaho Springs to the cache, but today I proved that if you're geocaching, it's 100 miles!!

Congratulations to Jamkerd for the FTF!

We stopped by to look for this cache while on a roadtrip from Chaska, Minnesota. We had just spent two days in Rocky Mountain National Park, and were now driving north to Cheyenne. Nice, quick park and grab. Thanks!

Thanks, nickgatt. Was here a few years ago, but I think it was before nickgatt placed this cache. Came to see the aspens which are glorious between here and Granby.

We have just driven from Breckenridge which is well over a hundred miles making our way to Wyoming. This is a fantastic drive, great scenery and traffic free roads!

I drove up CO 125 to get some caches in Jackson County before turning around and heading back into Grand County and on south. It is interesting to note that I ended up spending the night in Idaho Springs, although I didn't go directly there, and even after I reached that city I took a long she trip to the top of Mt Evans for some high-altitude caches as well as some fantastic views. I had little trouble with this cache; good job and TFTC!
