This is another of geocache in my Colorado series commemorating another year that I visited our nearby cabin. There is nothing special about this site, just keeping the caches close by in the same valley. The cache is at the end of a 4x4 trail off the main forest road running down the valley. The container is a small ammo box.

Like the title suggests, it is under the only aspen tree I saw at the coordinates.

Was not sure we could make it up the road so we hiked up. 600 foot gain in elevation in .3 mile. Was quite hard on this out of shape Texan. But well worth it. tftc

After ghost lake we parked at the bottom of the jeep trail and made our way up to the cache. We gained about 600 feet in elevation in a third of a mile by the time we reached ground zero. Left a Necropolis of Britannia Manor medallion and took the space shuttle pen.
