I did not find this one - but man what a beautiful walk on winter day! Got to the very end -the last 10th of a mile was just a little too dangerous in the snow!I will come back and do it again

Getting late in the afternoon, so I skipped ahead to get on the hiking trail. Nice little canyon back in here, mostly flat going until I hit the switchbacks. GPSr took me to the obvious high spot and likely location, although it was more of a supper stop for me. Sun would be going behind the mesa soon enough. Found the cache, I suppose. I'm hoping this wasn't some kind of red herring or trash left in the wild. If you would have left a note, I could have brought an official log to the site since I left some back at the car. As it was, I signed the "log", put back in place, had a few snacks, and even searched around some more just to make sure I wasn't being fooled. Let me know if you had something up your sleeve, Jake. Otherwise, thanks for bringing me out into this wild canyon. [FTF]
