Today's adventure led us ( @intrepiidexplorer and @WindAtMyBack ) to the wilderness east of Castle Rock. We walked into Hidden Mesa to grab the caches and experience this beautiful day. The weather was cooperative - sunny, but not too hot. During our expedition we saw several hawks and hummingbirds, caught and released a fence lizard, and saw a few wild turkeys. Cactus flowers are in bloom. No snakes were sighted, but we saw evidence that one had recently crossed the walking path.
After a long day of caching I checked one more list and discovered that we weren't far from a 2LL cache. So of course, I hauled everyone up here to make the grab. We had several DNF's today and I knew I could count on this cache. IE and I made the walk over and quickly found the container. Well done, Charlie Brown! TFTC!

Out and about caching with the world's most lovable geocacher herndonrd (also known as Mister Disneyland - the happiest man on Earth) and we decided to stop here and grab a cache in the rain before Chicken Shack opens. We are not the smartest people.
But I digress.
Herndonrd had found this one already so he watched as I plodded through the rain and wet terrain (thank goodness I wasn't in Spain where it lies mainly on the plain). I had a little difficulty finding the container only because the rain was clouding up my glasses. Since I'm virtually blind anyway Mother Nature was being extra cruel. Fortunately I finally figured out where you put it and signed the log accordingly. After that, I put this cute container back where I found it and took off to get one more of your caches before we had lunch. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great and wet day of caching.
P. S. No animals (including humans, aliens, or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

I was so excited when I saw a new cache along the CC trail. From the equestrian park down to here is one of my favorite sections too. Still plenty of off concrete trails to wind around the Meadows on. A fav point from me for sure!

Too funny! I was going to put a cache near this bridge, but you beat me to it. Tried for the FTF, but was too late. Nicely done. Signed log.
Thanks 2lablovers for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature.
Found with Cachly for IOS on October 26, 2018 at 3:28:16 PM. Geocache find #278.

{FTF} @ 1311. Talked with the CO at another FTF earlier in the day; expected that this one would be gone. Got home and it wasn't so loaded up my "Halloween Baby" (our oldest) and off to Parker we went. TFTC!
