Cache is NOT at the posted location.  Solve the Wherigo puzzle for the final coordinates.

This is the Colorado instantiation of the Fifteen Wherigo.  You can play this cartridge anywhere in the world as long as you start in the center of a 200 by 200 ft clear area. Listed coordinates lead you to an area more than large enough to play the game and within reasonable walking distance of the final.

The cartridge sets you up with a 3x3 magic square puzzle that you play in person.  Pencil and paper may be useful.

Difficulty rating is partly for the puzzle and partly for the placement of the cache.

There are Wherigo caches in a number of other states that may be found using the same cartridge:

South Suburban park hours are 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

We LOVE whereigos and picked an empty park near our home to complete the task before heading north to the final. We overlooked an important detail in the "game" and we were confused for a time, but eventually figured it out to claim the coordinates. This is our 10th anniversary of geocaching so we were in the area picking up some solved puzzles and challenging hides to qualify us for an anniversary challenge cache. Thanks for this great cache and quick find. A favorite from us :O)

All year I have been working on getting caches that are between my son's school and my work. As he is not going to the same school next year though, the window for getting those I've targeted is starting to close!

This is one I've had my eye on for quite a while. I have never done a Wherigo like this and finally this past weekend I got it done. I'm glad I took this in two steps as I would've run out of time solving before I had to go to work!

There's a nice field by a school close to my house so my geodog, Jack, and I wandered around the field to solve it. I'm sure Jack was very confused why we kept walking in random directions, stopping, going again, stopping, etc. for 20 minutes!

I was so excited when I solved it, but the cartridge wasn't giving me the final coords! I kept looking to see if I had to take an extra step or go to a certain square to get it. Then I realized... I had solved only partway! I had forgotten the diagonals. :(

So I started all over again and finally got to the right solution which gave me the coordinates right away. Very clever idea.

This morning I decided to stop to get the cache. It took a few minutes as I circled both trees. For me (at 6'1") it was a little lower than I expected but it's hiding in plain sight so it's not as hard as I was making it.

The cache log is almost completely full. I didn't have a replacement with me.

Thanks for the hide JMKR. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Second Wherigo cache.
Loved the puzzle.
Solved it at the second try.
Started on one of the soccer fields and not long after that the started preparing for a match.
Moved to another field and finished the puzzle.
Cache was a quick find.
Worth a Favorite point to me.

Yea, DNF avenged! I have no idea why I missed it the first time, as I found it on the second pass. Maybe I was focusing on the other tree more? Anyway, there were some speed drone pilots out in the park this morning. It was a bit unnerving to hear and see them zoom their drones at lightning speed around the field, especially when this tree wasn't too far away from their flight path. I enjoyed the logic puzzle a lot, and this whereigo cache!
Thanks for creating it, it was a lot of fun.
Cheers!

Out caching with FeartheFish and like usual me driving his butt all over the place. Out getting some Jasmer and degree caches and some others. Neat little wherigo and I had help from FtF. Easy find for the final. TFTC!

Yea, I solved the puzzle okay (I do enjoy logic puzzles). This park was the perfect spot to work out the whereigo - lots of space! I started in the middle of the soccer field with no problems.
However, I encountered difficulty at the final way point. I had to go away empty handed, even after a good 30 minute search.

In Denver for work and wanted to do some caching this evening. Started with a highly favorited cache to the SW of here and then thought I’d grab this one since I hadn’t yet found a WIG in CO. The cartridge was easy today as I learned a trick to solving these back in 3rd grade and have somehow managed to remember ever since and ran into zero problems with the cartridge itself. The challenge was all in finding the physical for me. Walked around and around and around and even double checked to make sure I entered the coords correctly but then after walking around a couple more times I finally spotted it. Will have to see if the one back home in MN is near me! Either way, a fun cache. TFTC!!
