Big Dry Creek Trail is Westminster's first designated National Recreation Trail. The trail runs along Big Dry Creek, which starts along the east side of the lake. This cache has gorgeous views of the Open Space and not too far away there are great views of the Front-Range.

Standley Lake is the water source for 3 cities as well as the water source for many farms to the north. A temporary split in the trail may be a good place to stop and think. This cache would most likely be washed away if the levee breaks. The could be a little "rough" to find.
