I heard back from the FTF team and compared their cords vs. mine using a 3rd party topo plotter. Adjustment to geochecker cords: N +.006, W -.004. Had to get a hint from the CO but was able to solve the puzzle after that. Made the hike today to look for the container and gamma's sharp eyes made the find. Container was well camoed. Signed log under KJKlock. Thanks for the challenging and fun puzzle cache.

I was out for the day. I decided to spend some time looking for this cache since I got nothing else keeping my attention in life anymore...

After searching a while, I had to look like a creepy guy waiting to kill the two ladies that walked by.

I searched more and caught sight of something unnaturally shaped. I then realized, since I didn't have my jacket, I also had not ink device. I decided to add the ROOT of evil to this semi-difficult hide (a dollar)... Hopefully that'll work as confirmation of my find.

I had this solved soon after publishing, but just now came up.
After searching for a while we decided to let go.

It's only now after reading the page again that I see there's a fix to the solution. We were definitely on the wrong side of the path. Maybe next time.

I've seen a number of puzzles with a similar key, so I had a good idea what to do. Finding the cache was a little more difficult than the puzzle what with poor reception and snow on the ground. I noted the coord correction and agree that is closer to actual GZ, though when I found the cache, my GPS was pointing about 25 feet further west. TFTC!
