Bring a pencil with you, this is a micro (but a very easy micro to find) located on a great new trail!!
Recommended parking is at the Rooney Rd parking lot.
This cache is located on a brand new trail called the Summit Loop trail which was just made on 10/20/07. I had the opportunity to be part of the trail crew, it was great fun and I would recommend to everyone to volunteer for trail building. It was amazing being part of the process! This will be a very easy cache to locate. You will not need to leave the path at any time. Please stay on the path and preserve this precious open space. The views from the trail are spectacular, enjoy your hike or bike to the cache. Please bring a pencil with you, this is a log only cache. Take care and happy caching!!

Started this adventure at about 10am and finished up at about 3:15pm. I ended up finding 12/14 caches in about 10 miles, which I am happy with. As the day went on, more and more mountain bikers appeared. I would have started earlier, but anything below freezing is where I draw the line. Thanks for all of the caches. I know that I will be back some day because there were a few that I just did not have time or energy to grab.

No luck here. I gave up after a while as well because it was supposed to be an easy one, so I figure it was not here.

After doing a couple caches in Morrison, I decided that there was enough time to do the one I had overlooked on my last Green Mountsin hike. Perfect weather and great views made this one a fun find! Signed log. Thanks for the cache!

As I continue to take trips up to Golden, I'm grateful to have time to explore the area. Today I had the opportunity to explore the William F. Hayden Green Mountain Park. Despite the snow and cold weather in Colorado Springs, it was in the 60s here. Finding the geocache was fun and offered a good hunt with no drama. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

It's quite a view from up here! Great spot on a cool little section of trail. The coordinates on this one made it an easy find. The replacement log is still in good shape, I signed it, left behind a tjFirey bottlecap token and replaced everything how I had found it. Thanks for bringing me here!

Thanks for the great little cache in this beautiful park! Today the wife and kiddos were at a baby shower in Littleton. I had a chance to get away for a few hours to do some caching. I decided to do a little hike around Green Mountain to day to fill in a Jasmer and get some exercise on this fine day. This was my 6th stop as I was headed the long way around back to the car. I found it quickly, but the original log was toast and the replacement was soaked. I added a newly signed and stamped log in a new plastic bag to this one. Replaced as found. TNLN. Thanks for placing this fun cache for us all to enjoy!

Made it to the top.
Cache was a quick find at the right coordinates.
The log was soaked, so I added a piece of paper, but that will not stay dry.
