After getting back to the main trailhead parking lot, I still had enough energy left to go find and sign this one. I'm going to give you a favorite point on this container as well because you did a really good job on this one for the area. I closed it back up as it was meant to be because when I found it it was wide open for whatever reason.

Thank you for the tribute to these awesome Navajo Marines who served our country in the Pacific. I recently heard within the last few weeks that two of them have passed away leaving only a few left from that awesome group of Navajo Indians.

Had solved this one a long time ago, recognizing it from history. While this wa the first of the type I solved it’s either the second or third to sign (Bad Pohka). Oh well. Out and about today and came up on the container; container was empty so I left a log with it. Don’t know if Muggle, Troll, fey, or nature did it. I’ll suggest the next one here bring a plastic bag or something to limit moisture. Appreciate the puzzle and the placement.

Nice hide

Not too difficult a puzzle once I figured out what it was. When I found the right TH there was a small pick up there tilted on its side over a big dirt mound. I thought it was a strange way to park when another car pulled up & a fellow got out & said that was his truck & he missed the curve. He was trying to figure out how to get his truck out. I thought it was time to call a tow truck. Was a nice hike though & cute cache.

Great cache all around. I worked out the puzzle last week and went for the hide this morning. Puzzle was fun to work out, not as tedious as I'd feared. The hide was very well done, could use a little love but it was dry and signable. Not so bad once I figured out the right approach. Next time I'm in the springs I'll make sure to find more of the series!

After a fun event this morning I decided to take advantage of the good weather and pick up some puzzles around Gold Camp road. Spent the winter solving puzzles now we can start getting out to pick them up. I saw this was "only 350 feet" from another puzzle I had picked up. I debated coming after this since I didn't have a pen, but decided to hope there would be one in the cache. Alas, there wasn't, but it was such a cute hide it was worth the straight down and back up. Tftc!

12:25:00 PM We are visiting from Dallas and staying in Divide. Today we attended the "And The Winner Is" event. Therefore I targeted some special caches in the Cheyenne Canyon Park area beforehand. Afterward, since we were in the big city, we hit a few challenge caches along "challenge alley."

Believe it or not, I solved this puzzle on 11/9/2008. Thanks for keeping it going this long! I finally had an opportunity to make it to the area and make the find. I'm sure it would have been a 2T cache from you-know-where. However, I made it a 3.5T scramble down and up from you-know-where. The cache camo is awesome and I'm giving it a favorite for that. (I liked the puzzle, too.) I signed the log. Thanks for the cache.
