Our first cache of the morning. We are on the return leg of our Buena Vista adventure. Made a quick stop at this remarkably busy intersection on our way. Quick find. Water was really flowing today. Many thanks.

I drove up to Denver from Cañon City. The traffic on I-25 was horrendous, so I took the longer and more scenic route back. I stopped for a few caches along the way and Tatonka made the list. I could see the hiding spot before I even stopped. Man, I love finding these kinds of caches, especially those that have been here a while. This container has obviously been here a while, but inside it is still in pristine condition. I had some extra baggies in the truck so I replaced both the log baggie and swag baggie. I added some swag and two travel bugs: Snowflake Ornament (TB94ACP) and Bead-Blanket Black Stone Donut TB (TB7EN3F). I saw about a dozen bison in the nearby field. Thanks for placing this cache and keeping it going for 11 years.

My first geocache that’s not a nano! Wish I had brought swag to put in it. It’s dry and in great shape! Tftf :)

Time to say goodbye to the grandkids in California and head back to Kansas City. Picking up a few counties along the way. Day 3 of the return trip. We left Grand Junction, CO, this morning. Got snowed on at Independence Pass, saw Doc Holliday's grave, got the oldest Colorado cache, did lots of twisty roads and saw some beautiful country while picking up 10 more counties. Thanks for all of the caches along the way to make the trip more interesting.

No bison today but a pretty view of the barn with the storm clouds coming in. Spotted the likely spot quickly and made the grab.
Thanks for the smiley.

I parked at the intersection and had no trouble finding a straightforward approach to GZ. Good job, a nice addition to my vocabulary, and TFTC!

My approach was all wrong but two fence crawl-unders and I found it, plus saw the tatonkas in the field. Thanks

International geocaching Day! I did not see Tatonka, but others in the Fab4 did. My geosense, and gps sent me in the wrong direction, so I had to catch up with the others. TFTC. I did dance!
