The first problem was to find the correct trail. Then it took some time to actually find the cache.

Followed the directions in one of the logs & found it. My phone said right at GZ. Log was damp but signable. Tree.

This one took a little searching because the phone was bouncing around but once it settled it was an easy find. Someone left a rock cairn near the main trail and we started to look there first, which was pretty far away. TFTC

Completely fed up with traffic we made an impulse decision to exit the freeway and find a hike. We ended up on this convenient trail which offered lots of views of the never-ending traffic. But it was nice to get out and stretch our legs and find a few caches. TFTC

9:06:00 AM Found the cache out in the open. The log was wet. I bet it will dry soon, since the snow is all gone. I made a rock cairn in the middle of the little path, and placed the film cannister underneath that. I couldn't tell from the hint where it was supposed to be. Had a nice time hiking the Argentine Railroad grade today with Garlic and Daisy-dawg. We had the whole trail to ourselves, until we neared the trailhead on the way down, and saw one couple. All the snow is gone here, except a little bit in the mine near the Pavilion. Thanks!
