No longer a 35 mm film can. Now a brass rifle casing, but won't be too hard to find :0)
P.S. - Bring your own pen/pencil. Tweezers might be helpful but I don't think you'll need them.Cache is just about as far north as it is up in elevation. The ground is pretty loose and there are no established trails. It's located on one of the few areas of BLM that meets the road below, making it accessible to cachers!
Just before you get to the cache, you should be hiking through the sandstone portal to the cliff-top. The sandstone has been carved throughout the years by the softening powers of the rain and by small particles of sands carried by the winds.
After you've located the cache, go on up to the cliff-top, okay small bench, sit and listen to the winds and the sounds of birds flying overhead. If your lucky there may be a break in the traffic and you can hear Plateau Creek running toward the Colorado River down below. Just a great place to sit and take stock about one's life.
Look for the opening in the ROW fence at the MM 58 pullout. Don't stare too long up the hill, it will hurt your neck. Load up with a few snacks, water and head North (that would be up the Hill).
Shouldn't need one. Sometimes you find the darnest things just hanging around! :0)

07/07/2018 By CacheKings007 Enjoyed the hike and the hide. We found a camo taped film container at the bottom of the hill a long way from the cache. Could have been the original cache? TFTH!

05/29/2016 By blueskiescindy This was fun. I found the original film container on the way down with a piece of the log! Neat sandstone formations!
10/14/2015 By PhotoQuad Visiting in Clifton for a few days and spent today doing a few of these caches. I enjoyed getting well away from the highway up a couple of canyons where all I heard was the sounds of nature. I also spent more time on photography than geocaching. TFTH
