Second time here! The first time we were here there was way too much water in the culvert so we didn't want to tackle it. Today we ended up walking the entire length before finally - finally - laying our hands and scraped knuckles on it. I wouldn't say it's a hole, more like a niche. Left it in a more obvious and less painful spot for the next finder. Did a mini CITO. SL. Thanks for the unusual D/T and the crazy hide.

Staying overnight at the Great Wolf Lodge as a thank you from a local Denver cacher for some work I did for him. First time here! Quite a place. I was up early before the rest of the family so I did a cache run and this was the third of 7 I found.

This was absolutely on my target list because of the great DT and I actually kind of like exploring this areas. This could’ve been so much trickier than it ended up being. I had an idea of where it might be at first but was wrong. And then once I went in a little deeper I spotted it. Could’ve been so much harder to get to but given the logs I wasn’t surprised. Relatively dry even with all the recent storms.

4:11 PM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today we headed to Spruce Mountain and Meadow Open Space. We last hiked the mountain 10 years ago for the conclusion of a classic sparrowPI multicache. This time it's the Classic Movie series that is bringing us to the area. (About 12 miles of hiking today.)

On the way back to home base we stopped and I hunted this one. I've found several like this in Dallas. I left a fresh log.

Out caching with FeartheFish today which means a lot of "pull over here" and now I am signed up for 2 (or is it 20?) new challenges that I've never heard of. Container was missing so I brought one out of my stores and FtF put it into place. TFTC!
