Part of the Aregentine Rail Bed series. A 35mm canister near a wall along the rail bed. No nead to leave the trail and scramble up or down the mountain for this cache.
This retaining wall is a great example of the many engineering feats that railroad builders had to accomplish. This wall, like the rest along the railroad grade, is built entirely of bolders, with no concrete or steel reinforcement. The walls along this railroad bed have stood since 1906.

After finally finding the correct trail, the search was quick, even though it was not where I expected it to be.

Wow, three years since the last find! This is not a hard hike & well worth it. Cache is still in place & in good shape.

9:35:00 AM Cool wall. Garlic noticed the wall first, and pointed it out to me, while I was looking around - wondering where it might be! It is quite impressive. Had a nice time hiking the Argentine Railroad grade today with Garlic and Daisy-dawg. We ended up with 6.7 miles today. We had the whole trail to ourselves, until we neared the trailhead on the way down, and saw one couple. All the snow is gone here, except a little bit in the mine near the Pavilion. Thanks!

#310 with David. We somehow got off the main trail as shown on the iPhone Geocaching app. iPhone also had us searching on wrong side of trail. But widening our search gave us the find. Nice holder for container. TFTC. Now to find our way down. I'm surprised more people don't get up here. Nice hike.

Out for a nice hike and found this one in great shape even though hasn't found in a while. Liked the holder for the cache container. TFTC
