This cache is another in a series of caches that are all along trails west and southwest of Denver. This cache is hidden not far from the actual Maxwell Falls. There are a number of trails in the area and you get to figure out which one to use to get close to where the cache is hidden. The posted coordinates are at a convenient place to park to get to this cache. The hike to this TM cache is less than 1/2 mile one way. The last couple of hundred feet to GZ is down a moderately rocky slope. The actual cache location is in a spot that is slightly difficult to get to and there are rocks involved. There are some cliffs not too far away but not at the cache location. Check out the cliffs for some nice views! As usual, bring your own pen.

This is a mystery cache so how do you find the coordinates? Use the below picture to figure it out. If you need an extra hint, let me know.

9:22:00 AM Out with Garlic and Prince Hairy for a nice walk around Maxwell Falls. We got done before the thunderstorms moved in. Thanks! Now I have to look and see how many more Trail Mixes I have unfound! Thanks for the series. They are all fun. I CITOd some IPA beer bottles at the trailhead.

That was a lot of clambering over rocks! We loved the falls. Fun puzzle too. We forgot a pen so I am adding a photo log.

So I started watching this cache a few months ago, as it is very near our home. I looked at those symbols and was able to come up with a few numbers, but in the end I was stumped and moved on. Tossing and turning last night I thought about it again, and decided to do something about it, on Easter morning no less! After rising at 5:30 and staring at those darn symbols again, I decided to email the owner for a hint. After receiving that I was on my way! I set off with Geodog Shorty at 7:15 and grabbed a smiley around 7:40 or so. We spent a little bit of time searching as our GPS was bouncy, in the end we found it signed the log, grabbed the TB and headed home to cook some breakfast! Thanks for this cool cache!

This is my first trailmix cache! Found with animjason and Bhob while they found their last trailmix cache. I'll see how many of these I can get animjason to revisit. I'm only eleven weeks old, so it should be pretty easy to get my way.

A few muggles hiked right by us as we signed. At least one of them knew what geocaching was. They didn't seem too interested, and were on their way. They were surprised to see someone my age hiking here, but my guides are awesome and will turn me into a hiking machine.

Animjason dropped a trackable tag, but I forgot to discover it. Oops.

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Trail Mix #32: Maxwell Falls from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

Happy Thanksgiving!

BearAdair, Bhob, and I decided to come grab this one today to once again complete the Trail Mix series (BearAdair's first one). Wasn't too crowded today, we only saw a few other hikers. While we were signing the log, three hikers walked right by us - what a random spot. At least one of them knew what geocaching was, and they were on their way.

Left a trackable. Thanks for this series.
