This cache is located in the land of "The Ghost Trees". These trees were burned during the Battlement Meas Fire of 1976. The cache is located under a bush, so be careful where you put your knees when you stoop down to grab this one.Cache should be fun for old and young alike. It's best to come when the early morning inversions are in the air, filling the area with low lying fog like clouds. If you come during the darkness, the trees stand quiet in the stillness, ready to scare the be-jimmineys out of you when you pan your flash light about.
There's a little parking area off to the right at about the same westing coordinates. (N36 26.392, W107 59.434) Lot's of people come out here to shot targets, so watch out for them. They don't come out so often now with the drilling going on next to this site. Should be able to walk straight up to it. Watch you footing, lots of loose downed timber and rock.
Oh yeah, one last thing. Don't let Wiley coyote scare you away. He said he'd stay around and guard the cache. If you find Tink's sneaker, let her know and she'll come up and get it :0)
