You don't have to climb a mountain to enjoy the views of Summit County.

This trail provides a 360 degree view of Summit County! If you look to the East, you will see Grey's and Torrey's (14ers) dominating the landscape with their distinctive saddle joining the two. In the foreground is Keystone with Dercum Mountain and the North Peak. Going North is the Ptarmigan Wilderness with Ptarmigan Peak in the background. Now as you move to the West, Buffalo Mountain anchors the Gore Range which goes all the way to Elliott Ridge and the Grand County line. Behind Buffalo is Uneva Peak and the Eagle County line. Moving your eye in a southward direction, the 10 Mile Range with Mt. Royal and Victoria Peak leading to Peak 1. Following the peaks down, you will be able to see Breckenridge Ski Area going all the way to Quandary, another 14er which is the only 14er lying entirely within Summit County.

Enjoy the views of Lake Dillon and being surrounded by one the best views around!

Weather windows on the 14ers are too narrow for comfort at the speed I ascend, so I'm grabbing some caches and being lazy today.

Did a little hiking up to GZ. Was rewarded with beautiful views. Found cache in good shape, signed log and headed down. Thanks for the cache!?

Came up from Centennial today to get on a little high-country geocaching. Brought my friend with me (non-geocacher) and turns out he and his wife hike up here quite a bit. He was amazed that the cache was that close to where they like to sit. TFTC
