Difficult climbing  Cliff / falling rocks

See Nooks down the canyon
Hid this and Nooks on the way up to Pat Creek and others in Beaver Brook Watershed.
This has a bit of challenge to it and probably shouldn't be attempted with sandels or shorts on. The rocks can also be slippery - that is why I gave it a 4.0 terrain rating.
Since I was in this tight canyon, my GPS was jumping, but there can only be so many places to hide this, and, I did not use beaners.
You are looking for a camo-ed mint tin.
Good luck and BE SAFE!

Lots of thorns, crannies and scrambling. Couldn’t locate when GPS gave out and storm rolled in. Maybe next time. K7.

I searched both sides of the road. Coords didn't bounce around on one side, but they did on the other. There are too many places to search!

Wow, three years since a find or visit or....? I was very confused about where to even start searching. I assumed that it was somewhere on the very sunny rock face, but then a couple of finders said it they had been looking on the wrong side of the road, My GZ was at the new culvert on the south side of the road away from the rock wall. Should I look there? Yes, might as well as it looked like easier terrain. Then another comment about GZ being hundreds of feet away when she found the cache. So that means it could be up or down the road or a LONG way UP the hill through the rock field with 1,000s of potential hiding spots. After about 30 minutes of up & down I decided to give up. I checked a few more spots close to the road, but never did get to the hundreds of feet on my GPS-that would just be crazy! I also checked a few spots on the rock wall (that didn't need "beaners" as described) but no luck there either.

Crannies has given me fits for several years, due to extreme GPS signal bounce. My first two searches were lengthy ones but were on the incorrect side of the road! As mentioned in my DNF note for 12/14/10, the last time I failed in my search for this challenging cache, I'm grateful to sassydil for getting me oriented to the correct side of the road. This was my first attempt since December 2010 to locate the cache, and my 4th search in total. It feels good to finally have reeled this elusive cache in!! As in past attempts, the fluctuating GPS signal direction never got me close to the actual hiding spot. But over the past two tries I think I checked every conceivable possibility. This time it worked... Thanks for this fine "signal" challenge!

No luck on this one. Got pretty scratched up in the raspberries, and climbed up to quite a few promising spots, but didn't get lucky. Thanks!
