Difficult climbing  Cliff / falling rocks  Thorns

See Crannies up the road.
I hid this and "Crannies" on the way up to Pat Creek and others in Beaver Brook Watershed.
You will climb for a short distance off of the road up about a 60 degree slope to the cache. This is why I gave it a 4.0 terrain rating.

It's a nice place to sit and listen to the creek.

You are looking for a camo-ed tin.

Have fun & BE SAFE!

Greetings from Oklahoma. We have been in different parts of Colorado caching. We drove over here to find a good variety of caches. We got to GZ and gps would not settle down. Lots of nooks it could be in when J finally said those sweet words. Signed log and placed back. Thanks for the adventure!

Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot. Cache was higher than my GPS indicated. Left Blue Ridge Parkway. K7

Took a passing shot at "Crannies" on the way down road. But with tired dogs in the car, and because I was wearing shorts (not recommended by CO), I spent a few minutes and then moved on. Then came "Nooks" and I thought, well, the logs make it sound like less of a major investment of time. It only took a few minutes, which was good, because my GPSr (my phone) died as I approached, but I still found it. Unfortunately, I left all but my pen back at the car and I had nothing to swap for Greasepot's scrabble tile (its' still there).

Had no idea this road wrapped around the back area here, but I had seen this series of road caches when I've ridden at the water shed trails & wondered if I could ride to pick these up. That would be doable & since I didn't find them all might be a future option. I clawed my way up the dry slick slope far enough to find this one. Coordinates were very good, just had to get to the right level.
