White Ranch

This Cache is located off of the Sawmill Trail in the White Ranch open space of Jefferson County Colorado.
Best parking is on the west side of White ranch. I prefer the lower parking lot at N39.49.131 W105.17.193. The trail is about 3/4 mile. When leaving the trail, please walk along the rocky ridge to avoid trampling the vegetation. The cache location provides a view of Denver as well as contrasting view of the forested area of White Ranch.

Cache is in the rocks on top of the ridge. However, you do NOT need to move any rocks to see the cache. The container is in a hole in the rocky ridge.

Log was completely soaked, so attached photo because I was not able to sign. Otherwise, great cache in a great spot. Thanks for the cache.


Drove over here from Denver to grab some of these caches. Got settled in the parking lot around 10:30am and started my adventure. Roughly 8.5 miles and 4.5 hours later, I was back at the car. Found 15/15 caches and was happy with my day. Every cache was found in good condition. The trail was very well-marked and was one of the least muggle-filled ones I have been on since moving to Denver. Overall, great day. Thanks for all the caches.

Nice cache, but the container was full of a sticky mess and the log "book" was a bunch of crumpled paper.

Nice place for a cache. The log was a bunch of balled up single sheets of paper, and, as a previous cacher noted, something seriously sticky has spilled into the storage bag. Two pens in the cache--one was fouled, didn't want to dig out the other.

I sat down to take a selfie, and spied the container at of the corner of my eye. Beautiful up here. 1 of 15 finds in this area today. My phone says I traveled 20k steps, so I would estimate I hiked about 8 miles considering the terrain. I walked from one parking lot to the other and back.
