A quicky along East Greenland Road.

Cruithne is an asteroid, or minor planet, that orbits the Sun with a 1:1 resonance with Earth.

Its unusual in that it is not directly opposite the Sun from Earth (in fact, its orbit occasionally brings it pretty close to us), and its apparent path, when viewed from Earth, is more like a horseshoe, or bean. And even though it is relatively close to us some times, it is harder to see than Pluto.

Some great info on Cruithne on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3753_Cruithne and here http://physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/2013/aug/14/earths-second-moon-target-of-proposed-mission   and here (with a gorgeous animation that resembles Celtic Knotwork) http://www.wwu.edu/skywise/a101_cruithne.html

Cache is a cammoed pill bottle. Bring your own pen.

Today, after the CITO, I cached around the Larkspur/Palmer Lake/Monument area. There are several caches around that I haven't grabbed and this was the day to change that. During my journey I was enchanted by big blue skies and beautiful views of the mountains.

I stopped by and confirmed what the last few cachers have indicated - no container in sight. I dropped a 2ml container at the fence post, away from the ground. TFTC!

No luck today. I’ll be back.

Thanks Thystle for giving me a reason to get outside.

This pole looks like it was recently moved. There is a large hole where the old pole used to be. Found a rock nearby that looks like it may have covered a hide. This needs a CO check.

The sign may have been moved. Or maybe the cache was covered by snow.

We are visiting family in Black Forest. We were on many old roads, but new caches for us today. We were able to pick-up 27 caches in less than three hours driving on a cool day and enjoying beautiful surroundings. Thanks! SL

hammerhead53 and I went to the chili cook off and then grabbed some caches in the area.
Quick one here.

Cache is in good shape.
Thanks for the cache, Cache Crazed
