Mrs. Herndonrd had a horse thing between Longmont and Boulder so I spent a couple of days getting some virtuals, earthcaches, and assorted others up in the area. FeartheFish tagged along for part of it. Someone had killed the "cache defender" before we got there (see posted picture). TFTC!

Spent the morning solving puzzles with lasouthpaw and admiring the little one's princesses and little ponies - neither of which are my strong suit ; ) Went out on a caching run to celebrate our solving successes. TFTC! Put the log in the lid so the next cacher doesn't have to suffer the same fate we had.

Peace love pi and I worked on some puzzles this morning and headed on out to sign some logs this afternoon. This was our first stop. The little one even seemed excited about finding some caches after a quick snake check. The cache turned up easily enough, but the log was stuck in the container and didn't want to come out. I had tweezers in the car but both of us were too lazy to go back and get them. I always forget them and have a bazillion tricks to coax a log out, but none of them seemed to work today. Used some local materials to fashion a TOTT and made some progress. My friend got it the rest of the way out. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2780.

Headed out today and had a toss up earlier in the week, south or north; north! First stop of the day a puzzle I solved long ago but just now made it up to grab. Glad to see it’s still here! Appreciate the puzzle and the cache!

Enjoyed solving this puzzle and making the drive up here to make the find. Fortunately there's a ton of construction at Ground Zero with new posts and poles and lots of mud. The container if at Ground Zero is in all likelihood buried under the mud. We left a micro container at the fence line which should be safe from construction issues. Thanks for the fun puzzle

Back in late 2013 I work a little bit solving some of the "-TwoCs- is Puzzled" series of caches and was successful at solving four of them - #3, #8, #10, and #11. I found and logged 8, 10, and 11 but #3 got archived because it was washed away in the flood of September 2013.
Recently I decided to work some more on the series. I discovered that #7 had also been archived so that left me with seven puzzles to ponder. I had time before family arrived for Thanksgiving to solve four of the seven - #1, #2, #6, and #9. Plus I even solved #7 because I was having so much fun with them all. I worked on #4 and #5 for quite a bit of time before I broke down and asked TwoCs for a nudge. I received a quick response and with the new hints I worked through those two and got good geochecks. That just left #12, the hardest of them all.
I had looked at #12 off and on over the last few years and nothing seemed to make sense. But sometimes what appears to be a lost cause turns to gold. This time when I picked it up I quickly came up with a promising idea. After some playing with my method for less than 30 minutes, I had a successful geocheck!
Today I headed south from my home in Loveland to seek out the containers for the seven caches. I mapped out a path before leaving home and it worked out very well. I was able to find all seven containers! Only #12 gave me trouble but I did find it.
Thanks -TwoCs- for this great series of challenging puzzles!!!
