This cache is located on National Forest Land just outside of South Fork. It is a short walk to the location, however, it is pretty steeply uphill, and will require a moderate climb. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. If you want to climb a bit further uphill, there is a rock formation about 100 yards away that has a special seat overlooking the mountain stream below. I have sat here many times to enjoy the serenity of this special place.

Yeah. Our first ftf a beautiful place with so much history. Makes me think about Fremont and his men heading up this same ravine to the Christmas camp in the 1800s. Took nothing but helped stock some more swag. Tftc
