Cache with a 360 degree view!
This cache will reward those looking for it with great views of the Lost Creek Wilderness, Tarryall mountains and surrounding country.

Follow the trail for most of the way, and it is a short walk, cross country to the cache. The cache is an ammo box, painted black, hidden in a rock outcropping. Original contents include toys for the kids, a log, pen and a pencil.

Access is off of Forest Road 211. The road is passable to most cars. Four wheel drive or high clearance not required.

My son, his uncle and I hid this cache while camping in the area. This weekend was the twelth anniversary of the 'Boys Only Birthday Campout' and we decided to hide this cache. The campout is one that my son and I have looked forward to since he turned three and when asked what he wanted to do for his birthday, said he wanted to go camping. We have not missed a birthday! Only 'boys' are allowed on this annual event. We have cherished this tradition for a long time, and hope to continue for a long time.

The date was too good to pass up which was what we decided to name the cache.

Hope you enjoy the views as much as we did.

I took the back way to the Tarryall area to find some CSP caches and this was a great stop on the way. Fabulous area and a nice hike to the cache. Really quiet out here today and the views are great with fall color here and there and everywhere. 10:35 am and 48 degrees. I left a frog.
