Nice little cache off Hwy 325 on the way up to Rifle Gap. There is a large pull off area to park at, and then it's a just a slight hike up the hillside. Use caution due to the loose scree on the way up (and down!) Log only, not really any room for trade items. Right now it is a BYOP, as we forgot to leave the pencil in it! Will remedy that at a later time. (Or maybe FTF could bring a very small pencil to place inside?) Placed with the help of Decoyent007

Didn’t even try. These 72 year old bones, bad knee & bad foot wouldn’t make it. My younger sister tried but didn’t make it all the way. She preferred to keep her body intact

This one might be toast. We found a round, threaded lid, much like many other small caches we have found, but no bottom or contents. We also found a shell and other debris in the area. Perhaps this did not survive the winter.
