This is the 34th in my series of Trail Mix caches all made out of Trail Mix jars.

Your search for this cache should start at the trailhead for the Tomahawk Trail:

This trail is popular for off road motorcycles so be on the lookout for them. You only need to hike this trail about 500 feet where you will find an obvious spot to leave the trail to head for the cache. It will then be about a quarter mile to the cache down a fairly gentle slope except for the last 100 feet or so which is just a bit steeper. I found the hike very pleasant and nicer than I expected. You'll head though an area like this:

You can get to the trail head by taking Jackson Creek Road off of Highway 105 south of Sedalia or take Rampart Range Road south of Highway 67. Or you can make a loop of it by using both routes like I did when I hid the cache. These roads are closed from about December 1st through April 1st each year depending on snow and road conditions.

Catching up on my logs. After an early morning event at Kneaders, I decided to do some hiking and caching with animjason, Bhob, and OUT14ND3R.

This Trail Mix was the main target today so animjason and Bhob could keep this series at 100% found. Mission accomplished.

Woohoo - FTF! Thank you cajrrman for placing this new cache in my "backyard". Even though Tuesdays are my normal days for heading up to Rampart Range, I saw these new caches and decided to try for them anyway. Hubby and I grabbed the dog and dashed out the door to grab this one. It's a short drive from home and we got there quickly. I was so excited that I wrote down the time wrong, we were actually at the cache at 12:43. I spotted the FTF trackable and decided that it was mine - thanks! In addition, there are lots of nice goodies, another TB, and a new log in the cache. What a great way to start the week! Took pirate duck, left car, yen, and stickers, signed log. Thanks cajrrman for placing this cache so that we can play!
