An easy cache with a little history.
The building near this cache used to be Saint Patrick's Episcopal church. Now it houses U.S. Forest Service offices (Chimney Rock Interpretive Association has moved out).

The Container is a 35 mm film can, so bring a pencil.

We are staying in Pagosa Springs for a week at a timeshare with friends Dugeagle. Today we went geocaching around town and enjoyed finding this cache. There is certainly a great selection of hides and some creative and difficult to find ones had us going. Thanks to trujilloweaver for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

This was a fun one. Saw a mulie, a skunk and a turkey vulture while I was poking around. Probably mundane for the CO but magical for me. TFTC & Happy Labor Day!

Richduck and I were out walking in the dark after a unique 'n tasty dinner and good beer at RiffRaff Brewing; he walked right over, reached up and snagged the cache. Very nice purpose-made container. TFTC. A little black 'n white-striped 'pussycat' was in the vicinity, but didn't spray us, thankfully. :)

Stopped at the Forest Service Office to buy our Lifetime Senior Parks pass and had to trek up to get this close cache. Looked in a couple spots before making the find.
