This metaphoric idiom pairs NOOK, which has meant "an out-of-the-way corner" since the mid-1300s, with CRANNY, which has meant "a crack or crevice" since about 1440. Neither noun is heard much other than in this idiom, but really cute together!

I love this area, you should too !!! Approve

Be sure to grab GCJ6C4 if you haven't already.. it is an oldie but a goodie.. yet another idiom.

Congrats to 2CachingKiddos for FTF !!

It might be here... But the 3 of us gave this one about 20 minutes climbing all over the place and looking in every nook we could find.

We did find the letterbox that is here. This is the second random letterbox find I've had this week. One of these days I'll get around to logging those on that official site.

Couldn't find this one today with GoMRT and RPeiperCO.

I had already made the hike up the falls trail to the Catamount Rd. & was returning via the Catamount Trail which was much tougher than I expected! I got to the viewpoint & near GZ & was thrilled when I thought I had finally found the cache so quickly. But no, it was the new letterbox. So All around the area I searched when I finally searched one more nook (or was it a cranny?) and spotted the small container. Now it was time to continue the long downhill climb.

10:59:00 AM We are visiting from Dallas. We are coming to the end of our week in Divide at one of our favorite places. Frown Today we stopped by the Farmer's Market in Woodland Park and then headed down to Green Mountain Falls for some hiking (and a few geocaches, of course).

This is a great spot. When we arrived, I found the Letterbox and Lynne spotted the cache. I see that it hasn't been found since last July. Still in good shape.

I signed the clean replacement log. Thanks, njnjplus1, for placing this cache for me to find. This was a great overlook!
