When I first arrived in Colorado, I was looking for a good place to hide a cache.
Imagine my amusement when I discovered a mountain top of my own. 
I knew I had to put a cache there. Two years later, I finally completed that quest!

... and after another year, I've gone back and loaded the area with each size.

This one is the regular-sized hide, and you're looking for a thin ammo can, which makes it definitely on the smaller end of the regular size.

Except for the Regular and Large container's, which are ammo cans, you're looking for a theme to the other three.

Please replace the cover so it's semi-protected from critters, weather and the chance-muggle.

Please be careful. There are many loose rocks that otherwise appear to be very stable.





SKuLL Rock

SKuLL Rock is a 7,126 ft mountain peak near Deckers, Colorado.

It's just West of South Platte River at the intersection of Hwy67 and Hwy126.

It ranks as the 3,768th highest mountain in Colorado and the 13,424th highest mountain in the United States.

Congrats to wildkatco for the FTF, their very first FTF!! Way to go!!

It was a gorgeous day for a hike on SKuLL Rock. I was accompanied by youkfish and the cache owner (THeSKuLL). Lots of fun was had.

Today was our day to conquer Skull Rock and find all six of the SkuLL Rock caches!!
Unfortunately we only found five of the six. (Guess which one eluded us--ha!) We used the hint to find this one----the previous cacher did an excellent job with the cammo :O) SL Replaced as found. Thanks for this fun series!

From the large cache I skated my way down the loose granite on the steep downhill still trying to outrun the storms which were all around me now. I went too far down so I had to go up & over a few ridges to make it to GZ. This one was the easiest to spot but still had to be careful retrieving it. I picked up the TB.
