This cache is dedicated to the pedal powered geocaching collective better known as Geocyclists85! This dynamic duo has found many of our hides, and they always leave a thoughful comment and story about their adventure, versus a canned one!  The story behind GC's TT cache goes like this: Geocyclist's on 2 seperate occassions hiked all the way up to the top of Mount Pence in search of a diabolical hide of mine.  After the second time coming up empty handed they dropped a Test tube for others to find.  Well, I've since remedied the problem  at Pence's Pursuit up above, so I wanted to say thanks by recycling their Test tube cache down below.  You will need to leave the official trail for the find.  Good luck, Happy Hunting!

Headed west early today, to try to beat the heat - had four things to do: one item of unfinished business, and another three new tasks to accomplish - this was the first new task - could be called TTT (tiny test tube). TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

We both worked a half day today then we headed up here to enjoy the fall colors and get our “recycled” cache. It’s not often you get to find your own container in the middle of the woods. Thanks for placing this and dedicating it to us, Geodog74! How can we not give this one a favorite point?

We have hiked out here three times now and each time we have used other caches as waypoints to stay on the path and then summit the peak after Mt. Evans rest. We kept on going after this one to try to avenge two DNFs on Pence’s Pursuit....to be continued....

I set out to do this diagonal run of geocaches because I had about 3 good hours of daylight, nothing pressing I had to do, and some geodogs that wanted the exercise. Quickly nabbed "skatepark" and then followed the most well-defined trail away from parking area, thinking it would lead me to the next 4 geocaches. I was wrong. The caches kept getting farther away, but I stubbornly stayed the course, think the trail must turn back west. At one point, I started to head towards one of the "off the map" series, but after a little steep bushwhacking, decided the shadows were getting a bit long and I should stay on the trail, double back to the parking area, which I did. Made it back about 5PM, then decided to go get this one as there was still plenty of light in the day. Found in a logical place, after a steep climb up an old road.

FTF. Well concealed. Thanks for adding this new cache. Trail is sketchy, so I bushwhacked to GPS coordinates most of the way. K7
