This cache is a tribute to my beloved Geodog Shorty, who passed away recently after a wonderful 13 year run together.  Shorty was always ready for a long hike in the woods hunting for Geocache, and of course squirrels and chipmunks!  We found hundreds of caches together over the years, and Shorty was my Co-Author on a handful of hides.  We rescued Shorty from Evergreen Animal Protection League, and for more than half of his life we thought he was a mutt, a mix of some sort.  However, we were later informed by a local dog expert that Shorty was indeed a purebred!  Now on to the puzzle:

What type of purebred dog was Shorty?  

It's around a 10 minute off trail hike from the parking coordinates in Shorty's favorite park!  Good luck, and Happy Hunting!

Ftf with Prince Hairy. We had a nice walk and my dog enjoyed rolling in icky stuff. I took the pickleball. Shorty looks just too adorable in his green elf outfit. I'm glad I got a chance to hike with Shorty. So sorry for your loss
