Near listed coordinates the following sign once was posted with common stats about the town of Snowmass Village.

The original sign is no longer here.  However, a new sign was erected elsewhere along Brush Creek Road, still within the town limits.  You must locate this sign as it contains the information needed to solve the puzzle.   The free town shuttle bus would be able to get you very close to both the sign and the final.  It would be possible to bike the entire way on paved trails or roads but they are a bit steep around here.

On the new sign another statistic was added in the form:

XXX Registered          (JKL)

And keeping with tradition it still has a meaningless sum:

Total                          (UVWYZ)

Calculate the final coordinate components as:

A = Y
B = J+V
C = K+U
D = V+Z
E = L
F = W

Checksum: A + B + C + D - E + F = 20

The final location should be an easy P&G where you will find a small lock & lock container attached by magnet.

(FTF) Spent 10 hours up here yesterday on the free TOSV Shuttle. Saw this cache publish right after I got home. Had to make an early run on it this morning. I was rewarded with a clean log to sign. Thanks for the cool “puzzle” and great cache
