The cache is not at the listed coordinates, but the cache is within 2 miles of the coordinates and can be driven to. Solve the puzzle below to get the coordinates for the cache. I love word and number puzzles. This is part of a series of puzzle caches. Note: the final is in a high muggle area.
This puzzle is a Sudoku puzzle. Instead of numbers, you will use the letters A-Y. (If you aren't familiar with Sudoku puzzles, google it and try a few simple ones first.) Unlike the typical 9x9 grids that you see in the newspaper sudokus, this is a 25x25 grid.

The objective is to fill the 25x25 grid with letters so that each column, each row, and each of the twenty-five 5x5 sub-grids that compose the grid contains all of the letters from A to Y.

In addition, the same letter may not appear twice in the same row or column or in any of the 5x5 sub-grids.

This puzzle is not actually very hard, but it will take some time. Hence the relatively low "2" difficulty rating.

Once you have solved the sudoku, you will then have to figure the missing digits of the coordinates.

The coordinates are:

The attachments include the grid as well as a separate grid without the symbols. There is also an attachment of the coordinates using the Wingdings.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ColoradoTrekker FOR THE FTF!

So I solved this monster sudoku puzzle last night. I love these types of puzzles so I didn't find it difficult, just tedious. I was going to the library for a meeting and I stopped by to grab this. I forgot about how dark it gets early now but there was nice lighting here. My GPS took me to an obvious spot but all that I found was a broken cover. There wasn't any other place that looked like a good hiding place so I left. Maybe I just need to come back in the daylight. I did send CO a note just in case it is missing.

I had about an hour to grab a few caches today while my wife was busy at Stein Mart. Solving this puzzle was fun! Just doing it by hand is never good enough for me, so I had to write myself a solver. Which I did. It quickly found the solution, and, after a couple of transcription errors, I had the right answer! Quick grab on my way past to another Wolfpack puzzle.
