A long, long time ago, in the far away kingdom of Dragonbegone, the king and queen had a daughter. The most beautiful princess the kingdom had ever seen. But, like most fairytale lands, the princess was snatched by an evil dragon and was never seen again. The desparate royal family sent theirt entire army after the dragon, but only one archer returned. The lone survivor, in a state of shock, announced that the princess was lost and the dragon could not be defeated. Infested with rats carrying the plague, the kingdom no longer had the resources to continue the search and rescue mission. Until you came along (*fanfare music plays*). You have never shot a bow, swung a sword, or taken part in a battle, so you must learn these things before you are able to complete your quest. Despite your inexperience, you are the king and queen's last hope! Go forth, save your kingdom, slay the dragon, and rescue the princess!

This is a 4-stage multicache in Palmer Park. All of the stages should be pretty easy to find and the puzzles are very straightforward (hints are provided at one stage should the puzzle be more difficult than we anticipated). At some stages (3 and 4 especailly) you will need to be careful of the cacti in the area! Don't get stabbed! There is a photo-op at the final -- we would love to see some adventure photos!

Also, a HUGE thanks to kiwipie (my younger cousin) for helping choose locations and create some of the props, and for writing the story for this cache!

Good luck, don't get eaten by a dragon, and have fun!!

kerewin0430 recommended this multi and having enjoyed several creative brennan7 caches in the past I suspected this one would live up to her very positive review. Reading the logs got me even more excited to do it. As Ernie66 pointed out, years ago there was an equally brilliant cache from SparrowPi with stages in this park. Reminiscing along the way, I enjoyed every stage and their different solutions. Thanks to brennan7 + kiwipie for all the effort and ingenuity that went into a cache that ranks with the most memorable ones I have found!

Another fun brennan7 cache. Found with Java Chip. We were able to successfully rescue the damsel in distress. TFTC!

Wow!
Epic adventure for sure! This is just what I needed after taking a break from geocaching for some time. I really enjoyed every part of this multi and appreciate all the work put into making it. All the stages are in great shape. Definitely a favorite!
Thanks

It's been a long time since I've done a cache this fun. And as ernie66 pointed out, there was once another multi puzzle cache in this area that was also entertaining. Really well done and I took photos to send to a non-caching friend as an example of how this sport can be so much fun. Thank you! Favorite for sure.
