Sure, it's uphill a little bit, but nothing like the hill we just did.
We went up the road with the intention of hiking Mt. Democrat. Made it up to the saddle at 13,400 ft, but beyond that, the wind was just way too brutal to continue. 30 degrees and 50+ mph. Since we didn't make it all the way to the top, we just had to grab a few in the valley on the way home.
Compared to our earlier hike, walking this little hill was a piece of cake.
