Dianne and I hike Cystal Peak and Father Dyer and then descended to look for this. I must have had bad luck today with some signal bounce. My GPS would show me 20 ft from the cache (tried both FTF and posted coordinates) and then would be 300 ft from the cache. This repeated a few times. I searched some likely looking rocks but gave up after this repeated a few times.

The coords posted by the FTF, N 39° 26.042 W 106° 06.471, led us right to the cache. I agree with those who found it about 75 feet from GZ. Great spot to visit especially since it got us out of the wind that was blasting across the ridge up higher. TFTC

Thanks to MyGeoQuest for this one. Not only was it a fun one to find but it gave us a welcome respite from the wind which had been battering us from Peak 10 to Crystal Peak and all along the ridge between!! Thanks as well to prior logs for helping us pinpoint the location. IN - A Team USA pin TFTH!!!

Didn't find it, I'm thinking the snow was the problem. Sure I was at the right spot

My GPSr was also off, so used the hint and information from a prior log to make the find. Thanks for the cache!

Very cool site for a cache. My boys and I searched for the Crystal Saddle cache unsuccessfully for a while before coming down to the lake to search for this one. It made for a quick find in a beautiful place. The cache is in very good shape. Thanks!

Estes01 and I hiked up from the cabin ruins at the end of the road. We saw the cache site from a long way off, but when we got there, saw that the cache was still 75 feet away. So we didn't find it until after we'd searched every rock near our GZ point and came to our geo-senses. The cache was quickly found upon returning to the obvious spot 75 feet northwest of GZ. Time for a quick snack and then up the slope to Crystal Saddle. Great location, thanks!

This one took a bit of hunting. Funny, because the actual location was the obvious one, but we still searched the area around GZ for longer than we should have. The main thing is that we found it. Ernie66 will fill in the details. Thanks for two great caches in this area.
