Trail begins at well defined trailhead along the Tarryall River. The trail is well-defined during the first 1/4-mile then begins a scramble along the river.
Cache sits high above the river for a great view. You will find a simple fly box with a note pad and a couple of small treasures. I wanted to select a special location as this was my first cache placement. I hope you enjoy this beautiful area of Box Canyon as much as I do.

My son and I spent a good long time (45 minutes) looking all over the GZ and even below it since we thought it may have floated down hill in one of the big rains. Would love to see the cache replaced.

Indeed an awesome location! I'm giving this one a fav point purely for the scenery and the fun approach. Gorgeous area! Even though I DNF'd it was worth the trip. The signal bounce is pretty bad so my search area was huge. Spent about an hour looking but had no luck. Given the location, a hint would be awesome and would help compensate for the ambiguity. TFTC!

I fished my way down to the Box Canyon, then took a break and searched for this one.

It was down hill a ways from GZ, I put it back where it should have been.

Couldn't find it. We even had at least 9 people searching for this cache too. So it is hidden very well. Smile
