ABOUT THE SERIES

The Stanford Hill Series is a 12-cache mini-geotour surrounding the Stanford Hill subdivision in Aurora. Stanford Hill was completed in 2003, and is conveniently situated between Antelope Ridge Elementary, Thunder Ridge Middle, and Eaglecrest High Schools. The 1100+ residents are proud of their clean, peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood. Please be discreet and stealthy while geocaching in this area. Please refrain from caching during school arrival and dismissal times, as well as after dark.

You will get the most enjoyment from the series by caching in numerical order. Refer to the “Parking” waypoint in cache #1, “Anteloper” (GC7WFBE), for the closest available parking. The walking distance for the entire series is about 2.5 miles.

Finding the final in the series, “What Does This Hill Stand For?” will require information obtained from within each of the caches in the series. This information is in the form of a numeric code, which when put together in order will give you the final cache coordinates.

This is the 5th time this cache has been removed, so I'm throwing in the towel. There has to be a geo-hater living nearby. I will revise the Stanford Hill series to exclude this location entirely. The answer to the part of the final that was previously hidden within this cache is "N=5". I will post this answer on each of the cache pages in the series, so the final can still be found.

Sorry to all who were unable to find the cache. If you logged a dnf, I will message you.

Did not find this one either, even with the hint. I didn’t want to mess with things too much

I have twice looked for this cache with no luck. Both times I didn't want to linger too long due to all the houses around and being in such close vicinity to people's back yards. Thank you for this cache and thank you for the series.

#17000 !!!!! Excited to reach this milestone. Even better was sharing it with friends Larry, Bob and Joe (wait, does that sort of sound like the 3 Stooges?) How about @LostinDenver, @Herndonrd, and @fearthefish . Found the cache and a few more and then chatted.

Today, after a day of caching in Highlands Ranch, 2lablovers called me and asked if I wanted to come with them to grab one cache. I thought they must be losing it because we never look for just one cache. But then they explained that this was cache number 17,000 and they selected this one as the find. I called Herndonrd and Fearthefish to meet us there for the big event. Well done on this clever cache. Happy to have friends like this. Tftc!
