Cache is located at 9732 feet above the level of the oceans. Terrain is not too rough, but not really handicap friendly.

Cache is a small black container with a log and pen and room for small trade items.
Another cache in my Geo Fishing series. This one is located at the Bear Lake day use area, which is in between Stillwater Reservoir and YamColo Reservoir which are connected by Bear River. There is lots of great fishing here! I've heard a report of 20 fish caught by 3 people in 2 hours and all were very nice fish.. They only kept 6 for dinner of course as the limit is 4 per person. This is high country trout water. Also located nearby is Rams Horn, Gardner Park, and Harper Reservoirs. There are numerous other lakes to hike to off the main roads and all can be great fishing. This is also one of the most scenic high country vistas in Colorado so don't forget the cameras.
Have Fun!!

Found it! My the water is low! YamColo is the lowest we’ve ever seen it! The ziptie finally wore out, we replaced it and it’s back in business :-). Beautiful colors today — but “leaving” fast!

My girlfriend and I camped in the area for the weekend and hiked the Devil's Causeway loop on Sunday. Our initial goal was to climb Mt. Zirkel to the north, but the Beaver Creek wildfire made us change those plans. Great scenery, weather, and hiking, but we couldn't catch any of those elusive trout. TFTC!

Greetings from the Banana Belt to my old friends in the Great White North.
I found this well placed cache, that's in excellent condition, and recognized the container right away...that gave me an additional smiley face.
Spent the night here in this over-crowded area and headed to Derby Mesa in the morning.
Thanks for the cache! TNLNSL
