I mountain bike and 4x4 up this road quite often and was shocked when I realized it was severely lacking in caches. This is one of my favorite spots to stop and have a quick drink with friends. This is located about 2 miles from the trailhead and is about 600-700 feet of climbing.

If you plan to drive, do not take Peaks Trail, be sure to stay on Miner's Creek. I highly recommend using a 4x4, but I have seen a few brave Prii (yes, Toyota ran a campaign to determine this is the correct plural of Prius) up there.

If you are hiking or biking, you can use the peaks trail, but will need to do a little bit of bushwhacking (or find the cut through trail to reach the cache).

Hope you enjoy!
