Scenic view  Parking available  Medium hike (1km-10km)

If you stand at the rock shelter you can see Loveland Valley, Loveland Basin, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone and Breckenridge ski areas. You can also see a bunch of 14ers - particularly Grays, Torreys, Quandary, Bross, Lincoln and Democrat.

Go a short way north of the shelter, sit on the natural bench and reach into the crack. There's a rock on top of the container to hopefully keep pesky pikas and marmots from making off with it. Feel free to add a rock or two in case those guys have been pumping iron.

Park on the top of Loveland Pass, cross the road and head out the Loveland Pass, West Ridge trail.

55Connie and I decided to venture out along the Continental Divide this morning to bag a few peaks and geocaches. Good hide in a GREAT location. Thanks, sassydil, for the placement.

Yipee the cache is still there exactly as described. Great place to get out of the extreme Denver heat but carry rocks in your pockets- the wind will suck you down off the divide.

Will have to come back with a true GPS instead of my phone
