This cache is named for the first cacher I met when I started caching. He may never get here, but it's for him.
You're looking for an ammo can just off the Wheeler Lake jeep trail.

Used two models of GPSr with the first readings mid morning and then again about 3 hours later. This was the best concensus.

Congratulations to FortyBelow for making the special trip to get the FTF on the cache named for him.

Greetings from Houston, Texas! Today our goal was to hike up to Wheeler Lake, but we only got to within 1.5 miles of our target. There is still too much snow on the trail. Finding this cache, however, only involved a little snow and some rock climbing. My GPS led me right to it! All is in great shape! Thank you for the adventure!

A fun week with The Wench, Turtle and Jeepstaff.
The Wench and I are on Road Trip 15: The Great Northwest. We had a week stop in Dillon and ask Turtle and Jeepstaff to join us for a week of hiking. So glad they accepted.
Yesterday around Dillon Lake, today was a day in this area and finding CSP caches. Turned out we didn't get as many as we wanted, but oh the nice caches we got. Superb, for sure. What a great day of hiking and finding the great vistas that we had found.
Thank you all for the great and enjoyable day in Colorado.
