Hunting

Saylor Park area (FR325 off of Rampart Range which was accessible by car when we hid the cache)
Saylor Park is a very pretty area that ngrrfan and I found while looking for another cache. It is probably a popular area with hunters during deer/elk seasons, so be aware and wear your blaze orange.

Out with the Church Youth group on a overnight camping trip was quite a hike for us City folk. Great cache introduced some people to a new past time.

I picked up this nice cache today while on a secret mission on Rampart Range Road. I didn't know there was a "park" here, and really couldn't tell the difference between it and the rest of the Pike National Forest. Regardless, I enjoyed the terrain here and the hunt despite busting every ridgeline there was to bust getting to this cache. The cache is in great shape, nice stencil job. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Fun hike while out exploring a new area for me. Not under a log anymore. It was actually just laying out in the open. Tried covering it up some. Cache is in good shape. Thanks!

Due to snow conditions, This is more a note about our winter attempt to find this cache rather than a true DNF. We snowshoed in to Saylor Park after finding a Christmas Tree. It was a tough trail breaking trek from Area66 to this cache in about 12-16" of snow. The snow was pretty deep in this gully area but we searched pretty hard turning over every log we could dig up in about a 30' area, but it just wasn't going to be uncovered.
