Gorillagal and I were in the area and thought this area could use a few more things to find. What we found were many possible "lean-to" shelters and rock fire rings. Is it possible that Big Foot has a series of hides of his own? You're looking for an ammo can hidden in the woods. Signal may be a bit bouncy.

I picked up this nice cache today while on a secret mission on Rampart Range Road. I didn't know there was a "park" here, and really couldn't tell the difference between it and the rest of the Pike National Forest. Regardless, I enjoyed the terrain here and the hunt. The cache is in great shape, nice stencil job. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Last cache on the hike. The rain just started so we were glad the truck was the next stop. Thanks for placing these cache for us to find!

This was our final snowshoe hike cache find. As we approached It looked highly doubtful that we would be able to find this one. Fortunately it was the only place that was relatively clear of snow so we made back some of the 30 minutes plus we had spent looking for the last two caches. We decided to go on up & follow the ridge back to the Rampart Range Rd. instead of trying to get back to the road. Strangely there was hatchet marks on the trees all the way back. I think it was about a mile. Fortunately we were parked only about 1/3 mile down from where we popped out. This was a great place to snowshoe and a very nice day.
