The cache is at the above coordinates, but you must meet the CHALLENGE before signing the log.

Difficulty of 4 is based on having to find the required caches; terrain rating of 1.5 is based solely on this cache location.

A rainbow contains the same seven colors as that produced by a prism. The colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. In order to meet the challenge of this cache and sign the log, you must first find seven caches, each with a color produced by a prism in the title. Purple does NOT count, as purple and violet are not the same color, nor are purple and indigo.

One of our favorite albums of all time (yes, I bought the ALBUM -- and the Ultradisc, and the SuperAudio CD).
This is the inspiration for this cache.

The seven colors must come from seven different caches, and the word must be used as a color in the title. For example, "Red Mountain" and "Redbird" satisfy the requirement for red, but "Fred" does not. You are not limited by time, and may have already found the 7 required colors.

You MUST list your 7 caches, their GC number, and the date you found them in your log entry. Any log entries that do not contain sufficient proof will be deleted. For example, one of the 7 for us could be:
Blue Mountain GC3471J Aug 17, 2013

Thanks to vorticity for allowing us to reuse one of his containers and the location of a previous challenge cache of his, that is now archived.

CONGRATULATIONS to OF-Erad for FTF !!!

Good luck !

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... Today will be our second and final day in the Colorado Springs area

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

Since I was in the area, I checking out which other challenges I could claim along this route, and this one brought back some great memories. It was the summer of 2013 and I had a particularly rough day in a foreign country, when I got notice of some new caches. One of my dear friends, blazingpathways, had published seven tribute caches, each with a poem that completely made my day. And on 16 July 2016, I made special overnight trip out there with to find them all. The cachers there are truly the best,. Thank you for placing this cache which brings up those special memories again! The caches are:

COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - RED (GC4F3XN)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - ORANGE (GC4F3XT)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - YELLOW (GC4F3Y2)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - GREEN (GC4F3ZT)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - BLUE (GC4F404)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - INDIGO (GC4F40A)
COLOREIDO'S RAINBOW - VIOLET (GV4F40G)

I wasn't sure if I qualified or not, and running the checker shows that I'm not. I'm missing that pesky Indigo, and though we have some 'hall of fame' caches around home for the local cachers, the one for Indigo Parrish is no longer active. I'll have to see what I can track down for this one.
