Located just west of Placerville on CO 145, it’s a nice place to stop whether you are pulling in to do some fly fishing on the San Miguel River, or to stretch your legs during a long drive.
This cache was hidden by the Telluride class of 2016 who were learning about geocaching and how to use a GPS while on an overnight field trip to Caddis Flats campground.

Cache is a rubbermaid/tupperware, medium sized and was hidden with:
Telluride keychain
Silly bands
Wind-up back-flipping frog
Telluride magnet
Silly putty

Cruisin' down the highway and had to stop for a cache. Made the first tracks in the fresh powder, parked, and headed to GZ. After making a circle, I found the cache well protected, safe and dry. Checked out the swag, but TNLN, other than a signature. Glad to have options along the way. Interesting location, I wonder if it has been swept into this location over the years. Thanks!
